High Intensity Discharge Lighting offers the advantages over incandescent lighting of increased energy efficiency, longer bulb life, and brighter light.

High Intensity Discharge Lighting or HID offers the advantages over incandescent lighting of increased energy efficiency, longer bulb life, and brighter light. We offer two HID light sources, High Pressure Sodium and Metal Halide. Manufactured from Cast Aluminum with enclosed ballast and stainless steel hardware. The Globe is held onto the fitter by four 1/4-20 set screws and the Ballast can be easily changed in the field by loosening two screws. Porcelain socket will be Medium or Mogul base. Lamp not included.:

Metal Halide
• Produces a pure white light
• Enormous amount of light with excellent color rendering
• Bulbs last six times longer than incandescent

High Pressure Sodium
• Produces a golden-pink cast
